Antique 1910-1914 Edwardian Art Nouveau Teal Blue Velvet Bag with Steel Cut beads. Inspired by Orientalist influences of the time depicting a Spider Chrysanthemum floral pattern. Many artist of the time were influenced by this flower specifically impressionist painter Egon Schiele and fashion designer Paul Poiret.
With loop fringe and drawcord opening, it has beaded ball pulls on sides with metal rings inside to adjust and beaded handles. Intact lining in teal linen.
In very good vintage condition. See detailed pictures. Has a couple of small spots of shading on velvet. Steel beads on straps has some tarnishing. Might have some loose beads at one strap. All not noticeable when worn. Beautiful. See below measurements.
