Vintage 1950s WHITING & DAVIS (known for inventing metal mesh at the turn of the last century) Gold Metal Chain Mail Bib Scarf Necklace. Signed Whiting and Davis at back clasp dangle.(see Picture) Adjustable hook and chain closure. Gold tone is slightly darker than your typical bright gold costume jewelry. This gold is more authentic looking unlike their copies. Found at a high end estate sale and is in excellent condition.
