Lined with grosgrain tape inside. Irene Burstyn's hats are presently at the McCord Museum in Montreal. After fleeing Nazi-occupied Poland she travelled first to Italy and then moved to Canada in 1944. In Montreal, she began making hats in 1948-1976 at her own studio in the prestigious downtown area.
