Vintage late 1970s early 1980s Mens Aquascutum Tan Corduroy Trench Coat with Belt and Removable Wool Vest. Made in Canada. Aquascutum is a historic British brand founded in 1851, specializing in quality outerwear and is renowned for its trench coats. From the Aquascutum Aqua 5 line made for water Repellency is famous for its innovative water-repellent fabrics. It features classic trench coat elements such as a double-breasted button closure, a waist belt with a buckle, and buckled straps on the cuffs. The coat in the image is made from corduroy, which is 100% cotton with a tan viscose satin lining and removable vest. Vest is a wool navy, tan, ivory check. Back knife pleat opening. Straight mens coat shape and can be worn as a women's oversize coat waisted with belt and blouson silhouette and big shoulders. (there are no shoulder pads). Super fashionable.
In great condition. The only thing is that the zipper for the detachable liner is torn 1/4" at the begining and is tricky zipping up. Priced accordingly. Fits a womens ML L or XL and mens ML or L. Depending on the look and fit you want as well as what you wear under will determine the size. A womens M would be oversize, a womens L would be a nice mens fit, a womens XL would be more fitted. I suggest you compare measurements to a similar non stretch coat at home.
