Vintage 1960s 1970s AVERARDO BESSI for the department store Carson Pirie Scott and co. A rare & collectible Bessi designer piece from a contemporary of Emilio Pucci. This silk velvet Dress has an ivory background with blue, yellow and brown botanical floral print. Lined in ivory silk with "Bessi" all over printed logo. Back ivory metal zipper opening. this 60s-70s dress is inspired by the 1920s flapper style with drop waist, 3/4 sleeves, and ankle length. Has fold over skirt part that opens for easy walking. Bought at estate sale. In good vintage condition. Was washed by hand and some minor print bleeding occurred on the darker blue shades in only a few spots. Please see last picture. Don't hesitate to ask for more! Fits and measures a size 4 or SM but please see measurements for accuracy. Mannequin is size 4 and has some give.
