Vintage Runway Spring Summer 1987 Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche Cotton Bow Print Peasant Blouse Skirt Set. Made in France. Images from runway pieces with same print and Linda Evangelista wearing a similar dress on the cover of Vogue. 100% white cotton with a bow print in purple, blue and fuchsia. Both pieces have a lot of fabric and are voluminous. The blouse is a loose-fitting peasant-style or smock featuring a scoop ruffled neckline and voluminous, puffy "mutton" or balloon sleeves. 3/4" length dolman sleeves are gathered at cuff with elastic. Skirt is pleated at waistband with side zipper and pockets. Falls below knee. Unlined. Condition is excellent. Hardly worn. The original label with hand written details and serial number. It was acquired at an estate sale where the majority of the clothing and accessories were Yves Saint Laurent. Labeled a size 40 French and fits a size SM or M or 4/6/8. But please see measurements for accuracy. Model is a M/6 and 5'8.
