This is a highly collectible Egyptian Revival style Coin Belt was made popular in the mid-1920's by the discovery of Tutankhamen's tomb in 1922. Made of brass filigree and coins, ivory ceramic beads and glass colored coral beads. Closure is a hook on each side and is adjustable to your hip.
There is no other belt like this. Very rare piece. In great antique/vintage condition with about 6 ivory beads that are chipped (normal with these Faience beads) and one is missing in middle. This is excellent for its over 100year age.
