Antique 1890s French Ostrich Feather Boa Scarf Collar with Silk Tassels and Ribbons. Made in France. Navy blue 100% ostrich feathers. Color appears lighter in pictures and is closer to a navy. Backed with black cheese cloth. Beautiful silk corded and crimped tassels with decorative knots and ball. Same if not nicer than the one at the costume institute from the Metropolitan Museum in New York. Yes this piece is museum worthy.
This scarf is in amazing condition. Feathers are full and shiny and tassels are extra long and silky.
